No Strongy - it got to £125 and said next bid must be more than £127.50 and
I hesitated about paying so much (o/h would kill me :D ) and bidding ended.
I am very disappointed as I have only ever seen one other copy. [IMG]

Not normally one for New Year sales but I do like to grab a bargain or two!
I have already started my christmas box for 2008 where I add things to it throughout the year so when christmas comes round I don't need to spend so many pennies. :D

We have filled one large banana box already with some great stocking fillers for the little ones, I think at this rate we will be filling one box a month!

Oh forgot to add Dan (my eldest) managed to get a great deal on a return flat screen from work, customer brought it back after a day or so as the remote didn't work so I brought a new remote that works it all from ebay for just over a tenner!

Now I don't know if anyone can beat it but the tv is a flat 37 screen HD ready with a built in dvd player...Dan even got is staff discount off it so it cost Ã?£225! [IMG]

    All I can say is

    [IMG] That is just beautiful!
There are just a few perks from having to renew everything Pal.
You and Mrs Pal deserve it after
    all you've been through.

Yes indeed Roders Dan 'won' the TV by pulling the 'Its for my mum for chirstmas' trick as so many of his work mates wanted it, his main contender was one of his best buddies called 'Q' who is an asian who loves his mum so very much so Dan won hands down!

Finally got the monster set up yesterday and boy is it like going to the movies I will have to get a supply of pop corn now! :D

Pal your set looks right at home and after all your water troubles it must be nice and very long over due to put your feet up and have a nice relaxing evening.

You certainly got a bargain there Helen. My TV has a 12" screen in monochrome and Eamon Andrews reads the news. [IMG] [IMG]

Helen, if Eamon Andrews is reading the news, then John only has BBC. BBC1 hasn`t even been invented on his TV.

Haven't been able to post a reply
until now as my comptuer crashed due to 'DoubleClick' virus.
Just got it back after a complete clean out and re-boot - £90
Perhaps it is just as well that I didn't spend all that money
    on ebay isn't it?
