I have had them in the garden three years, this year something is eating them?.
I tried covering one plant with a clear bucket over night, and made a clear space around adding a grit ring to the soil. This seemed to work, but leaving the bucket off two days, I found a flower bud nipped off this after noon.
Supposedly rabbits, deer etc don't touch them!!!. Any ideas please. PS bucket is now back on..

Are you in the countryside? Any pheasants around?

Yes, there are could it really be them?. I have reverted to covering it up with a bucket at night, which seems to when the damage occurs. Are pheasants nocturnal or very early risers?.

They’re early risers … and yes, they will pick flowerbuds from the top of stalks. Cheeky so and sos. :dancy:

I've had practically no flowers this year on the Cardamine pratensis I grow - the problem was the wood pigeons. I saw them pecking at the tips.
A mesh cage of some kind is probably the best solution. Fingers crossed that'll work @Tabather .
