Dahlia "Knockout" A recent purchase, I've found that yellow dahlias don't last many seasons.

Thank you @ViewAhead. :)I had a beautiful 'Hawkshead' in a large pot in a previous garden that was coastal. Unfortunately I haven't got a picture of it. If your Fuchsias aren't in pots perhaps it's worth giving that a try. My current 'Hawkshead' is only young but doing well in semi shade in the ground.

I only went out to take one shot. Came in two hours later!

The first perennial Helianthus flower of the year. Lovely yes - but a bit of a thug. This flower is from the rhizomes I removed from the lawn last year but couldn't bring myself to sling.

@Michael Hewett that hemerocallis looks good! Is it really such a clean pink? I often find that they have a "muddy" tinge to their colour.

The view from my bedroom window - pillow-like clouds of Robinia leaves. And, the reason I spend the winter faffing about moving my Osteospermums in and out of the garage to keep them going. Floral perfection!

It's a sort of orangey-pink when it opens and then fades to a paler colour - I think, I don't take much notice of it.

Too high up to take photos but our Magnolia soulangeana is flowering like mad again. Lovely to see the flowers again.
