      Fabulous plants everyone.
      Your photography is exquisite @LunarSea.

My borders are looking all straggly and dry so not photogenic. Just a little sunflower for today (Little Dorrit):

Our raised patio in evening sun with potted Thalictrums & grasses.

              Patio-Thalictrum-&-Grasses.jpg

Miscanthus 'Morning Light' (above) viewed in isolation. Grasses work so well in pots positioned where you can appreciate their outline. Not bad for a £2.50 rescue plant!

              Miscanthus-Morning-Light-backlit.jpg

Anthemis 'E.C. Buxton' (with Calamagrostis grass behind) still giving lots of bang for buck in the front garden

              Anthemis-view-July.jpg

Two more easy-to-grow plants currently giving bang for buck. Firstly Crocosmia 'Lucifer'

              And then Helenium 'Mardi Gras'

Geranium "Joseph Green" still flowering well. It started flowering within about 3 weeks of being planted as a bare root this spring, and hasn't stopped.

Yes, just gets frost free protection, just enough heat to stop it freezing.

Thank you @pete, that's good to know. I've been thinking of getting one for a while now (used to have one many years ago)

As you probably know there are different ones, I can only say I find H. carnosa able to cope that low temperature, not sure about some of the others.

Yes, It seems the toughest one. I was given a cutting of another several years ago, and it had one leaf when I got, and it still has only one leaf ! Hasn't even grown one millimeter. I repotted it again this spring, and am waiting to see what happens next ... probably nothing :frown:
                      I can't remember it's name.

I used to have a plant of Hoya Bella, nice little hanging basket plant.
Someone said you can propagate from leaf cuttings, yes the leaf rooted, but never grew a shoot in two years.
