Solved What is this tree and is it dying?

    Hello
    Can anyone identify this tree for me please?
    A lot of the leaves are yellowing and dropping already and it's only July. There's also some dead twigs and whatnot

    It looks like Arbutus unedo, the strawberry tree.
    They prefer a slightly acid soil, and a bit of dampness.

    Due to the size of it I'd not worry too much at the moment, it might be a bit stressed by the heat and dryness right now.

    Natural leaf loss on evergreens does often happen at this time of the year.
