    Hi all

I’d appreciate any help with identifying the weed in the attached photo. I am no gardener but I am helping my mother with maintenance of her house since my father passed away last year. This weed is spreading around the tarmac that surrounds the house and seems resistant to roundup and hypochlorite (the chemicals my dad had in his barn)

Any clues on what this is and how to eliminate?

    Thanks in advance

Even using a flame gun on it has little effect, it just stays green!

Ranks alongside Soleirolia soleirolii as being one of the most difficult plants to control .
I think both dislike dryness though !

Yes , | made the mistake of introducing this to my garden years ago ; of no detrimental value to my plants , but you just can't get rid of it !!
Good for ground cover over unsightly areas though .

Oh dear. Well that explains its resistance to everything we’ve thrown at it ...

              Thanks for the replies.
