    Hi everyone.

please can someone tell me what this plant is? Also, can I chop it back? It’s taking over the flowerbed. Does anyone know when it flowers?
    TIA!

Buds make it look like hemerocallis...common name day lily.

    hemerocallis - Google Search

Suggest you wait for those buds to open.
Each flower lasts one day...but it will keep flowering for ages.

If you chop it back now...you are beheading all the flower buds.

Hey thanks for your reply! Oh they look beautiful. I’ve not chopped it at all.. but the leaves are huge and keep getting in the way of the other plants!

Wait till you see if you like it.
If not .....suggest you dig it up and give to someone who has more space.
    Plants need the leaves.
