My youngest son bought a terraced house, works two jobs to pay his bills and is putting a lot of effort (with dads help) to improve the house and long garden which is looking really good. Dad built him a largish fish pond and Mike had some lovely fish in it. He awoke this morning to find some sick individual has put washing up liquid into the pond. I haven't spoken to him yet as he is at work but I am hoping the fish have survived. Honestly I could cry for him.:cry3:

what a stupid thing to do! I have ingested a minute quantity of washing liquid once and it felt like my throat was burning forever. I dont think that the fish will survive but lets hope so (is the pond behind fence?)...

i don't know what to say to that. Its the kind of thing that makes me think my non-violent approach to life is not always correct.

it has a bi sected garden but he lives at the end one so someone had to know the pond was there Miraflores. I just get so angry when scumbags do something to hurt creatures and spoil what others work for.

This kind of thing makes me sick.
Hope things are OK, the washing up liquid would, depending on the size of the pond, diluted well. But I'd not like to guess on the effects on the fish and other life using the pond.

The fish might be okay but it depends on how much they put in unfortunately a number of common washing up liquids contain suficants which is what makes them foam and is not good for aquatic animals
