Ive just been to the greenhouse and when i opened the door about a hundred or so yellow spiders with a black dot fell down the side of it. Luckily they just missed me. Ive been round with a bleach type spray and cleared the lot of them, hopefully. What type are they likely to be? Every mound of spider eggs has now gone, im not having that many drop on me while im in there.

    These seem like them.

Garden Spider(Araneus didematus ) young or spiderlings, shame on you killing them they do nothing but good and would have got rid of insect pests that entered your greenhouse.

I agree with Walnut on this, but do understand that some people have irrational fears of harmless things-I don't do mice.

Spiders in the greenhouse-or anywhere for that matter predate on flies and other pests that do actually do harm.

I have a small group of nests in the greenhouse-and plenty of blackfly for them to munch on when they are born-nature is a wonderful thing.

You can't possibly have read Charlottes Web.

I dont mind a few in there to help with flys but when about a hundred drop down and miss you by about an inch then they have to go. I could just imagine the spider webs in the greenhouse every time i went in if i let them all survive. There was a similar amount as in the picture Bob linked too above.

I've had similar masses of small spiders in my greenhouse.

Its surprising how they disperse after the initial hatching, (if thats the right word).

Most presumably die, others seem to vanish to the outside, I've never been overun with adult spiders anyway.
