I shall be chucking some salmon on the barby later.
            (Notice I'm learning the lingo)
Any suggestions on how to go about it?
            I have a plan but it's a bit basic.
Also potatoes, tried a baked potato in foil but it turned out much the same as doing it in the microwave, just took 50minutes longer.

Alas pete, the finer things of life have always passed me by. I do find that an extra glass of white wine beforehand, renders proletarian pasta quite acceptable.
And that can be adjusted according to taste.

The ultimate: salmon on a plank. :love30:

I think baked potatoes work best if they are pre-cooked in a microwave and then given just 15 minutes on the ...barby... for smokiness and colour and burnt bits. Ditto sweetcorn, I never get it perfect if grilling from uncooked for some reason.

Our barby tonight is probably be based on minced beef kebabs, tatties (with butter and dill), bell peppers, courgettes (split in half lengthways, gently slashed and seasoned with oil and something), possibly feta in some form and anything else that can be skewered. I forgot to buy anything barby specific. :noidea:

Chilli Black Hungarian is starting to look quite good, might try to grill a couple, possibly stuffed. :)
