What's Cooking Today??

Never tried making pasta ,I've heard a couple of our sons say they regularly do.
Do make bread and pizzas.

 

Toad in the hole with potatoes, cabbage,peas, sprouts, cauliflower,carrots with fried red onions, garlic and very hot chillie and gravy.

For pudding it's homemade summer pudding but with redcurrants, blackcurrants and a bit of rhubarb served with ice cream.

 

Just had Chicken, garlic potatoes ( with their skins), peas, carrots, runner beans, broccoli and sweet corn + gravy. We didn't want any sweet today.

 

Cheese (Red Leicester) and onion sandwich with Earl Grey tea.

 

Breaded plaice fillet with baked potato and salad with grated beetroot, sweetcorn and cheese.

 

Just had spicy chicken pasta, salad and yoghurt.
Delicious!!

There is lots of dried leftover bread in my fridge so today I'm going for French toast. In Germany we call it "Armer Ritter" (literally "poor knight"). Not sure yet if I want the sweet cinnamon or hearty salt, pepper and garlic variant.
Well doesn't hurt to try both....
