        Nice collection, not sure that is the right species for Tequila,;) but they look good just the same.:smile:

              It's constantly being cut back by winter every year so it gets a lot of stems and there gives it this really substantial look.

              In the cool weather the flowers are so vibrant and last a long time.

                          Thanks! Bit more unusual than the traditional version. I think it is a variant of the volcano, but I am not sure. Some people have said it is the same thing. Either way I've not seen many of them about - so it's nice to have something a bit different!

                            Billbergia pyramidalis striata, fourth generation from original offset from Madeira Exotics circa 2009. Takes three years to bloom and it's over in a week! (but worth the wait). I'm still waiting for B windii and nutans variegata.
