Fantastic colours, it's that time of year.:blue thumb:
My Actinidia Kolomikta planted in January is now showing some colour but I don't expect the pink to come through yet.

Viola Labradorica, the foliage is much darker than the picture shows its growing in a shady spot and the flash kept going off :rolleyespink:
011.JPG Arisarum proboscideum (mouse plant) so excited about this, first time its flowered, not what I'd call pretty but looks just like a tiny mouse a few more tiny 'tails' showing too.

The one and only flower on my pagoda lily, somethings bitten all the other flower heads off:mad:

Crikes! I've missed a lot over the last week!

Simbad - I seriously jealous of your Arisaema.

I seem to have a lot blooming but it's all inherited from the previous owner. But my Hippeastrum cybister is blooming, and that is my own work..............

Bilbo, looking good :dbgrtmb:. Our ajugas aren't even showing a hint of flower yet and I like your dark blue forget-me-nots. All our dark blue has gone but the lighter blue has spread everywhere.

The exochordas are now coming on well (must add them to the Exo thread :) )

                These are delicately tinted tulips
                P1120196.JPG

Katsura has recovered fairly well from the winter but there are a few branches on the north side that appear dead. (Note the bit of weather you can see in the background - that's typical of Shineyland with rain clouds in the distance and sunny here)

Our late magnolia is just starting to flower and will continue until August
                P1120203.JPG

And the rhubarb is doing well now that we have had some rain

                  P1120211.JPG

                  And not so delicate

These Aquilegias don't look much at the moment but, if they come true, they should have pure white flowers.

Oh, Shiney, I'll 'borrow' your tulip+other plants combinations. :dbgrtmb: ('Borrow' is a nice euphemism for 'steal' in my case.) Arum and what is the red-leafed one in the non-delicate tulip picture :WINK1:, a sambucus nigra, some acer or ...?
My tulips are a mess now, I've started tagging them (by their colour and flowering time) and this season they will experience a big move from the central parts of flower beds to the shadier and less cultivated corners under trees and shrubs. That's why I'm hunting for tulip+foliage combinations.

Here are some pics from me:

Not delicate at all, but these varieties have not been lifted for about 6 years and had given to chaotic hybridisation. :heehee:

I think a tuft of the red ones deserve to partner with the Chaenomeles Japonica at the back and I'll see to it. :WINK1:
