    I think its very apt that this should flower for me after three years from seed, in this, World Cup year in South Africa.

    Ahhhh, The national Flower Of South Africa :) how the heck can you grow flowers like this? I know, Great weather down there. Good work Pete 10 out of 10 from me ... By the way, did you send me some Bower (<-sp) of beauty seeds? because they germinated and growing as i speak..

    Pete - that is magnificant.

    I had a go with a couple of Protea from seed (of unknown species) - but they were never happy especially over the winter - they are at peace now. :D

    That's looking spectacular Pete ... well done. I haven't the patience to see things through as you do.

    Hiya Cutie ... it was probably me as I have the Bower of Beauty (Pandorea jasminoides) both the normal and variegated and both have been blooming for a month or more now and will do so all summer/autumn.

    The first picture is the Bower of Beauty and it mine is perhaps 3-4 meters tall although it's cousin in the second photo, the Pink Trumpet Vine which I prefer, goes up the deck staircase all the way across and along another overhead trellis so is perhaps 10 meters or more now. The first has a slight powdery scent, the second none.

    Those are gorgeous Strongy and Kathy, do you get seeds from those??
