Beautiful, stunning views, Kathy3. Yes, you are fortunate to have found an exquisite place to retire.

I'd fancy one of those two houses ... ooh, can just see me paddling there [IMG] ... but the one to the left looks a little safer because I'm not sure about the hairy, very windy, north sea, snows bit though ......

I know I would, Kathy3. Sorry, I'm in and out of the house like a yo-yo with our current 33 degrees watering things, plus re-organising the living room after the building works, plus jumping on here ... I forgot to say that I'm pleased your fender-bender wasn't too bad and that you didn't suffer serious injuries ... [IMG]

Maybe I could come visit in the winter? [IMG]

Hubby and I left a bit of our hearts in Scotland when we left in 2002 so keep on posting the pics. It is certainly God's country - although why he invented midges I will never know.

Everyone's garden is looking fantastic. Definintely the best time of year. I've a problem at the mo. Either man or beast is destroying my garden. I will have to take some photos and post. Cannot find any animal footprints - nor human come to that - so am perplexed (nice word!)

Keep up the good work everyone and please post some more pics Kathy..... :D

I agree and just love that Lobelia, dearest, and find Living Stones "odd characters" but nice to see them in bloom, pete.

I thought so too, Dizi, but didn't say as I've had slapped hands before ... ouch [IMG]
