        This is a totally thornless rose and shall be a solid mass of white in a few weeks - highly scented. (ARMANDII, what was the name that you thought it it's called?)

          We removed the lower branches of corylus contorta to allow us to plant more flowers and to be able to view the structure of the trunk.

                  Good morning Mr Shiney,
                  I got the front row privilege seat this morning. Wonderful array of flora and fauna. I wanted to stay too long under the willow in the morning sun and then I got mesmerised looking out across the meadow and the hanging basket - in its prime and full of promise.....

                      We cut the elder hard back each year, similar to cutting back a buddleia (you just need to decide what height you want it to bush out from).
