Hi, I know this is a really old post, but curious to know if the straw in netting really works? As I have green pond water too- anyone experience of using straw? Thanks

I was dubious about straw in the pond at first ,but I now wouldn’t do without it.
It must be Barley straw .
I put it in March and July as it takes time to break down to do what it does ,I really am a believer.
