    IMAG0304.jpg A customer didn't want this plant. She has no idea what it is neither do I so rescued it and put it in a small plastic jar before a decision on its fate is made :sad:

    Hate throwing away anything that has potential but flummoxed on this one. Looks like phlox but isn't. It appears to be a woody shrub that has been cut down to the ground by a previous gardener.

    Any IDs gratefully appreciated!

    Looks a bit like a laurel to me

    Thanks for the reply. The pic isn't great bUt the texture of the leaves feels delicate and deciduous :scratch:
