As it is a new year, and the weather is somewhat 'busy' at the moment, I think a new thread is warranted.

Perfect timing then: you'll be able to give them some very welcome shelter from it all! :dbgrtmb:

                    Got to love the weather!
No, really: it's not snowing (no freezing pipes, no danger of black ice on the road and no threat of broken bones from slipping over on it :blue thumb:); no threat of a drought either (stand pipes at the end of the road are so last century :nonofinger: )! Bit soggy, perhaps ... but that's what willies are for :dbgrtmb:

That's not what my Mum told me!:hate-shocked: Must be where I've been going wrong all these years..:roflol:. We had a drought up until this afternoon but it's persisting down now and set to continue for a week at least. It's all or nothing isn't it? There's Zigs flooded out and our farmers grumbling about the water table being it's lowest ever:what:

It rained most of last night and kept raining until around 4pm when the skies started to clear from the West. The skies didn't clear totally so that there were some light grey clouds drifting along. The temperature didn't reach 50f today and right now it's 39f with the lowest pressure reading we've had for months with 985mbs. Showers forecast for tomorrow:coffee::wallbanging:

Rain, this isn't rain, it's monsoon! Two months of endless rain and wind and it's not going to get any better soon! My garden, sitting on well draining sandy soil is now starting to develop puddles, that's far from the norm.

Today, more rain and a little less wind, 9C/48F.

Wellies can also be used to keep your feet dry when the rest of the house is flooded out :)
