Still no desperately needed rain.

 

Cloudy, drizzly, warm and sticky.

We had rain last week ,it is now very warm.........good growing weather ,weeds as well.

2 hours of lovely steady rain, just off out to water the plants

Very still and muggy this morning and into the early afternoon then boy did the heavens open at around 3pm. With Thunder and lightning and torrential rain.
Roads have been damaged and manhole covers gone!
The garden has faired ok being on a slope
The ride home on the push bike was interesting with the water coming above the wheel hubs
Temperature reached 23'c/74'f
Currently 16'c/60'f

 

A very pleasant 25C.
Not wall to wall sunshine but very nice for a change.

 

Light rain from 7pm ish till 8pm, will soften the ground, hope for a more generous amount later.

 

Cloudy, warm and sticky again. There's a severe weather warning in force for Merseyside. Haven't seen any of the heavy downpours and thunder yet.

 

Rained on and off today

 

Monsoon in mid Sussex lasted about an hour just now! Med garden got flooded but is draining away.

 

Well after a bright day for the most part and 25C it has again ended at 4pm, pity that the longest days of the year just finish with a downpour mid afternoon.
Its getting a bit monotonous now.
