It's SNOWING:hapfeet::hapydancsmil::yahoo::lolpt: Mind you I can't see it coming t much as it has now turned to that very fine stuff and as the roads and paths are very wet I can't see it settling:sad: At least Mr Kandy won't have to dig the car out of the drive to try and get to work this morning:snork:

They reckon the frost levels for the country at the weekend is going to be down to double figures brrrrr:yikes:

We've had rain overnight but it's dry now. There are patches of clear sky but a lot of dark clouds are looming. It's 3.4C but feels colder in the wind.

After two weeks in a very grey, very damp Wigan over Christmas (couldn't believe how warm it was), while the spring weather apparently continued here, it looks like winter might finally arrive. Last weekend was very windy and a bit chilly, this week so far has been a bit of a mish mash, but snow is forecast for this weekend.

@Lorea winter is certainly here ! I think this is the coldest I've been all year! It was so mild over Christmas my neighbour had daffodils on flower! Yesterday I noticed she had bulbs coming up around her tree in the front garden! This weather is certainly very strange. :rolleyespink: Let's hope it doesn't last too long, I hope you don't get much snow over the weekend :blue thumb:

"There's snow on them there hills" who on earth said that? The view is over The Firth of Tay around Perth and is just along the road from where I live. The view is used by many photographers and often features in the likes of calendars. Sure some of you could do it a lot more justice than I did. The view carries on but the best I could do with a phone camera and zero talent for taking photos! The sun has shone all day but it's very cold. Definitely preferable to non stop rain that we had for weeks.

Went out this morning to see what looked like would be a dramatic sunrise, but low cloud obscured it just before the critical time and the light receded, then it sleeted, then it turned flippin icy, haven't taken an outdoor temp, but we still haven't turned on our heating (apart from bathroom) and right now I'm sitting by a blazing wood fire and it's 17.6 deg C.

Been raining since last night, sometimes torrential, now it has just turned into sleet. 3c and the usual nasty northerly gale blowing.

There was a melting mixture of snow/ice/rain on the car this morning but it soon disappeared on driving. The wind was more conspicuous with it's raw, biting edge although the skies were almost clear of cloud and the Sun, remember that?:doh:, was low and bright.......right in your eyes when driving:wallbanging::heehee: The temperature never got up above 37f and right now it's 32f with a pressure reading of1021mbs.:coffee:
