Quite a nice fairly warm dry day with a gusty wind that didn't lower the temperature. So the temperature stayed mainly in the 65f to 67f with some cloud but a good amount of blue skies and sunshine. Towards 6pm the skies started to clear and right now the temperature is 48f with a pressure reading of 1039mbs.:snorky::coffee:

It has been warm and sunny all week with a bit of a chill in the mornings. This morning, at 7 a.m. when I went out to put the sprinkler on, it was a mild 55F/12.8C but very overcast.

The cloud rolled in from the East around midnight last night and it has stayed with us all through the day and into this evening. So it's been a dull, grey day with very little, if any, breeze and the temperature getting to 57f. So right now the temperature is 54f and the pressure reading is 1028mbs.:coffee::snork:

The skies today were filled with strange shaped clouds that stretched from horizon to horizon looking like the ripples left on a sandy beach after the tide has gone out. There's been little or no breeze during the day while the temperature never got above 57f and it stay dry. Right now the temperature is 52f and the pressure reading is 1028mbs.:coffee::snork:

I was stuck inside an Office for most of the day but from what I could see from the windows it was fairly sunny with some grey to white clouds drifting by borne on the Easterly Wind. My Garden Weather Station said the top temperature was 63f but right now the temperature is now 43f with pressure reading of 1030mbs and fairly clear skies.........so I'm flitting between here and the Observatory!!:hapfeet::snorky:

We have had a new weather thread running since last Thursday

            What's your weather, Autumn 2016

Maybe when an Admin begins a new thread they could either close down the old one or at least leave a message on the Office noticeboard to let the other Admin know ;) :heehee:

@"M" - sincerest apologies from the Admin Team, and rest assured that disciplinary action will be taken with regard to GCHQ's error. I cannot divulge the full disciplinary procedure in public, but suffice to say that the disciplinary handbook uses the words "slapped purple" and "wet kipper"......
