    At 7 a.m. we had clear blue skies and the sun was glowing from below the horizon. It was 45F and virtually no wind at all.

    By 7.50 a.m. it is starting to change and the temperature has risen to 46.4F, clouds are drifting, fairly rapidly, in from the West and will very shortly have obscured the rising sun. The forecast for this afternoon is strong winds bringing cold weather so I shall have to get a little bit of gardening done this morning.

    Possible snow forecast for tomorrow evening. They've posted a Yellow Warning about the snow. Don't like yellow snow!!!! :yikes: :snork:

      No idea of temp right now, was 6c around 9 am.. too cold for me. It's dry but really windy though. Snow tomorrow! :gaah:

              Gale force winds have been blowing since last evening which took out the electricity for a few minutes around midnight. The emergency fire lights kicked in (I've not experienced these before) and lit up the whole place like floodlights unnerving me for a moment or two. :doh:

              The gale has gradually decreased this evening and down rated to strong wind but we've had snow showers added to that today although it's not settling as yet. A cold 3C/37F down to 1C/34F around 8pm.

                      I was back in Essex in late August and I couldn't take the heat between 30/36C. It's amazing how our bodies adjust to different climates over time. I was glad to get home. :phew:
