After a heavy snow shower this morning the sun decided to put in a half hearted appearance for the rest of the day, no wind though. 0C/32F.

Woke up this morning and it was 1.2C and raining, now the temperature has shot up to 2.9C and it's still raining, the lying snow is hardly melting.

The snow here had turned to ice yesterday and it wasn't easy trying to shift a two inch thickness with a spade - off our sloping communal drive. "snow dig" This, so our neighbour could get some grip with his car to go out.

Today is a complete change, most of the snow/ice has gone and it's been grey with showers of drizzle. 6C/43F

A grey drizzly day with very little breeze but what there was coming, generally, from the South. The temperature hovered around 49f and during the day we had a total of 11mm of rain/drizzle and the pressure slowly climbed from around 103hpa to what it is now 105hpa with a temperature of 47f. More of the same, it would appear, for at least the early part of the week.:dunno::coffee::snorky:

                Wow, @Jiffy :rolleyespink: you're having a heatwave!

                It's 38F here and damp.

Yesterday it drizzled all day but stayed cold enough for the frozen snow to remain. Although it was only drizzle it was very unpleasant trying to drive through the muddy spray on the motorways.

Yet another breezeless, grey, mild and dry day today with the temperature around the 48f. I'm not a great fan of cities so my day in Manchester didn't help the day get any brighter, at least driving wise.:dunno: , but the journey I enjoyed the most was the journey out of the city trying to sneak out before the traffic worsened. So, it was a dark murky morning and now it's a dry, dark, but mild evening, so I've spent half an hour sitting in the Arbour,:heehee: with a mug of tea, listening to the early night creatures rustling through some of the uncleared dead border debris.....but never saw them!!:hate-shocked: The temperature right now 45f, the pressure reading is 1009hpa, the cloud is trying to thin out, and all the rain we've had here today, early in the morning, totalled 2.1mm:snorky:

Dry, bright and windless here but no sunshine. The temperature throughout the day stayed at 8C/46F but this evening climbed to 9C/48F.

According to the local forecast we are going to have a cold but bright day with the temperature not rising much above freezing. Tonight they've forecast -4C

The steady rain on Sunday washed all the snow away. Today is dry and bright with a bitter north wind. Temps around 4ºC. A maximum of -1ºC is forecast for tomorrow.
