    Interesting point there @pete. I don't trust modern technology and nor did my previous doctors surgery. They ousted their digital blood pressure machines and went back to the pump-up and stethoscope method as the machines aren't consistent. I've never trusted digital thermometers for taking a persons temperature either.

      Lots of cloud varying from white to black with some patches of blue:hapydancsmil:, and we even had a spot or two of rain, with a a breeze that was gusting and warm. The temperature got to 72f, so that is the warmest day of the years, so far, for this neck of the woods. The skies have cleared, so the Observatory is powered up, and right now the temperature is 56f and the pressure reading is 996hpa.:coffee::snorky:

        Beautiful day here with plenty of strong sunshine which felt stronger when it went behind some high hazy cloud.
        Temperature reached 23'c/74'f at the bottom of the garden

                Some cloud during the early morning but then the skies cleared completely and the temperature slid up to 73f with little or no breeze. So a lovely warm day, and right now the temperature is 57f and the pressure reading is 1005hpa.:coffee::snorky:

                          The skies this morning was completely cloud covered although the temperature was 62f.
                          By mid morning the skies still had cloud but there was much more blue showing and the temperature rose to 77f with no breeze. This warmth has had a real effect on the birds as in the early morning they are really singing their hearts out and I just have to stand, with a mug of tea, and listen to them.
                          Right now, the temperature is 65f and the pressure reading is 1006hpa.:coffee::snorky:

                                Yesterday went up to 85F (29+C) in main garden so I worked mainly in the section between there and the veg garden (in the shade of the trees :dbgrtmb:) - and it's already 65F (18.3C) at 7 a.m.
