      Yesterday started frosty and was a bit nippy for working in but felt a lot warmer as the sun was rising. Sunny and warm all day with a slightly chill wind.

      Today they forecast wet all day and then a sunny week. Not wet yet. :blue thumb:

      @CanadianLori I use London - BBC Weather

      But I think that most of them tell lies anyway :dunno:

      Casual clothes, mix and match, are the best choice. When I travel light I take one warmer item to wear indoors and one to wear outdoors (depending on time of year, it can be the same thing), a waterproof and, preferably, a light weight fold up umbrella. My umbrella has accompanied me to dozens of countries and is good to keep the rain or sun off.

      When travelling I tend to wear lightweight walking trousers with lots of pockets. At home it's track suit bottoms and rugby tops all the time - except on Open Day, when I wear trousers as I usually need to carry things in my pockets and my track suit bottoms would fall down under the weight :snorky:

          I could, but I took that on "zoom," so it's a long way away. So I won't bother.

                    I still use this one, not as trendy as some of the newer ones perhaps, but I prefer a proper forecast rather than the spin some of the others put on it.;)

                    UK weather forecast

                    Just hate those weather presenters who say it's going to rain, so take an umbrella and there will be surface water on the roads etc. etc.:mad:

                    What about, we will be getting galeforce winds, so there will be big waves:lunapic 130165696578242 5:, I dont live on the coast, but I'm willing to bet anyone who does, will probably know that windy weather causes waves.:biggrin:
                    Watch out for fallen trees.:snorky:

                    Where do they get these people from, just stick to the facts, the rest we can work out for ourselves.
