WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE 2018

Tis dry so far but cloudy

 

We actually had a puddle on the lawn last evening, first time I'd seen one for years. Shows how much rain we've had. Our houses are built on what was farmland until the sixties and the area was formally part of the alluvial plain of the River Mersey, so the soil is quite sandy. The water has all gone now, but it's likely to rain off and on until the week-end.

 

Got April showers.

 

Sunny this morning cloud and rain this afternoon, all the snow has gone thankfully.

Missed all the showers that were forecast, part sunny and windy, max 13c.

 

@Sheal, we haven't had as much white stuff as you have. heading back to IOM?...hope not

For those old enough to remember Faulty Towers and the episode where Basil tries not to mention the war, similarly any discussion regarding our current weather is now banned in this household.

It's raining again and colder than yesterday.

 

Blowing a gale here, but at least it is drying things out a bit.
