A very good morning @Logan and @Upsydaisy and thank you my good friends,I decided in my infinite wisdom that the weather is always lovely, its just my perception of it that has been a little clouded;)The sun is now shining like a yellow duster in the sky,we are indeed very fortunate in the UK to have so much variety in our weather and variety is the spice of life, enjoy the rest of your day with a spring in your step and a smile on your face:smile:

        Couldn't agree more @wiseowl .

Looking out of the window on the rain makes me feel glum but once I'm in my waterproofs and out there the rain is forgotten.

I have a friend who regularly comes over to the UK and she says that as she travels from Heathrow she looks out the window in wonderment. She is dazzled by the colours in our landscape as she comes from a very dry South Africa!

        We are indeed very fortunate!

              Hi,

I've just been up the soggy mountain weeding with the hoe; the meadow flowers are growing ballistic so much so I've had to pull a lot out as they were smothering the small Potentillas. We have masses of foxgloves so these needed thinning too.

It's our longest day on the 21st; good job we've had such an excellent summer (NOT). Blackie's hovering overhead so I hope to dash into the workshop before he sees me and gives me another soaking; oh how I love rain drops on my glasses.

              Kind regards, Colin.

80% cloud but those windows of sunlight make colours so intense and everything is enjoying life out there.
Breeze is stronger than yesterday and not that warm. Not a "June " temperature really,
                but hey ho,

Rained on and off most of this morning, but once properly attired it was quite enjoyable out in the garden.......shopping later was not so!

Think the rain has cleared :fingers crossed: but the breeze is hanging around and battering more plants!

                            Hi,

I wanted to cut the grass this afternoon but because Blackie is keeping the dust down as usual I'll just have to force myself to wander down to the workshop. :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::awesome:

                            Kind regards, Colin.
