        Sun, rain, sun, rain, sun all day. :blue thumb: Good for the garden, not good for my clothes and hair! :noidea:

        I got the bonfire going during a sunny spot and once it got going properly the heavens opened and made not the slightest difference to the fire. It burnt down over the next couple of hours and when the sun came out again I loaded all the debris from one of the ton bags and that is burning away happily.

        So now we have sun and smoke! :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

              No rain this afternoon after all. The rain we experience in Southampton passed on eastwards , tracked it online....great yellow blob! It must have approached the city at an angle that missed out our garden, we only live a couple of miles out. My sister said we had a few spits and spots but that was all.
              Definitely some flash flooding in town too @wiseowl !! It really was quite an experienced watching from fairly high up over the city....one moment we could see the sea and liners the next they had disappeared in the rain!!:yikes:

                            Definitely a nip in the air, we sleep with all our upstairs windows open normally at this time of year, but last night I had to get up and close a couple.:sad:

                            High of 19 today , the sun has now broken through the clouds but not too confident we'll get to see much of it today.:sunny:
