WHATS YOUR WEATHER LIKE 2019

Portugal IS a religious country (in fact, today is a religious holiday here, Assumption Day) so today is treated like Sundays ... visiting family, going to the beach, etc.

It is nearing 30c so the beaches will be heaving with the last of the tourists and the locals. We are staying home relaxing and enjoying our peaceful garden.

 

We have the same reason for the holiday here, @Victoria. Although Belgium is very secular in its people, as I mentioned, we still have the remains of its Catholic past, hence the holiday....

 

Mainly sunny and dry but again, windy, but a good excuse to go on the bus to Lulworth Cove, max 21c.

 

Not great, but better than yesterday.
Pretty cloudy morning, brightened up mid afternoon and got a bit warmer, but still a bit windy and not what you would expect for mid August.

 

Grey and utterly calm out there and a temp of 14.5c. In the distance (Sou West ) can see a slit of blue sky....

Bright and sunny at the moment but we can expect rain this afternoon. A weather warning is in place for today, rain and more strong winds.....and more battered plants I fear!

 

We'll get it soon too @Verdun as it works it's way up along the coast. Have you got strong winds. ( not being personal here!)

Yes it is breezy ....not been outside yet so can only judge by the garden which is well protected but I think it is generally very windy. Not a nice day until late afternoon at least

 

@Retired ... hope you don't have arthritis with all that damp weather!

Going to be around 30c again today so another just enjoying the garden day,
