Clear skies, got up to 50f which was perfect for me to carry on clearing out more annuals

 

A foggy start this morning then the sun broke through around noon. It stayed with us until sunset followed by heavy rain mid evening. 11C/52F

 

Raindrops keep falling on me head! You sang that didn’t you!?

 

Sat outside in shorts. The leaves are just starting to turn colour on the trees.

Off to the garden centre to buy geraniums which will happily bloom all winter.

 

Well atlast a dry day?
Sunny at the moment so trying to dry things out a bit, long may it continue, but I'm not holding my breath.

This morning was cold and later sunny intervals and dry all day.

 

A decent day for a change with a cool light wind, mainly sunny, 13c.

 

Gloomy - wet, misty and breezy. That's because I wanted to rake leaves today. 10C/50F

 

It was a mild day but unfortunately I had far too much to do inside because I have a herd of friends coming to lunch tomorrow. And tomorrow is supposed to be a repeat of 60f and sunny... but I'm inside entertaining. okay, I take that back. I can wait for a fair day any time and I do appreciate friend's visits much more.

BUT Monday is supposed to be another lovely day. The weather gods are being kind

Hi,

I wondered where Blackie had got to so he's with you Victoria; thanks for letting me know because I really do miss him; please don't encourage him too much because otherwise you'll be growing rice.

I've now got a full set of waterproofs so Blackie can't torment me as much; I'm in the workshop today so Blackie's having a rest from soaking me. I had planned a very rare full day in the workshop today and made an early start; I've just come up to the bungalow for a mug of tea and bickie; whilst composing this post the phone rang and Bron accepted the call; there goes my full day in the workshop I'm grounded AGAIN this afternoon. Our neighbour Carole has just invited us round at 2 o'clock for Max's birthday party; Carole's made a fancy cake with candles; Max is such a lovely cat.
