I'm like you Woo , I love to walk and will try my hardest not to let things stop me. Despite having multiple bone fusions in each foot ( which can still be painful) I have managed , by trial and error, to find good supportive walking shoes. Where there's a will there's a way.....not all, but most of the time

 

It is cloudy here too - and the high today is expected to be 34f. Quite mild.

 

Hi,

Daylight did break and I spent half an hour at the top of the mountain using my hoe before feeling too perished to carry on; Gale was punishing me with a stiff bitterly cold breeze but at least no Blackie so I didn't get wet.

I've just come out of the workshop having put a bit more time in practicing TIG welding so all in all a decent day for January.

Woo & Upsy. I also love walking and observing the natural world around me. I have perhaps been sitting around a bit to long, the old legs are a bit wobbly at the moment. Perhaps a few flying lessons fro WOO might help.

Hi,

I did the usual three supermarkets shopping first thing this morning; what's going on with supermarkets can't they afford to light their car park any longer?

Very dark early on and although the car was reading 8C it felt much colder especially in the breeze but my pet cloud Blackie hasn't troubled me for a few days no doubt he's building up to giving me a good soaking soon; his sister Gale is here and blowing things around; tomorrow is forecast for Gale to really get into her stride.

Given the terrible problems around the world I'm thankful to be in Yorkshire in safety with only Blackie & Gale to put up with. Life here is excellent so I've nothing to moan about.

Currently 11c with blue skies and sunshine going to about 17c later. Looking forward, seems the same for the rest of the month and foreseeable future. We need rain and some cooler weather to get rid of bugs. January, February and March are our winter months.
