Oh dear upsydaisy, has he got a temperature, sore throat, upset stomach? Could have the flu, he could take paracetamol or ibuprofen for the temperature. But not if he's taking flu remedies. Hope he's better soon.

      Thanks @Logan
Ah!...no worries about medication, he has surrounded himself with all the available lotions, potions and pills from the medical cupboard !! :heehee:
Hubs just doesn't cope well with being unwell... he's had a cold since Tuesday!!
Trouble is I know I will probably get it too but definitely won't be able to take to my bed !!

It felt really cold, 38F, at 5.15 when I went out this morning but I think it will warm up quite quickly once the sun gets to work. No wind at all.

13C at the moment but rising to 23C later. Beautiful out there this morning and the garden is full of busy birds, making the most of this cooler part of the day probably.
            Enjoy your day :)

Yep @Logan and he's still in bed ....still at least I have been able to do most of the spring cleaning downstairs without a lurking body in the way. Just going out into the garden now that it's cooled a bit.
On the man flu subject have a look on the Yawn, Yawn, Wakey,Wakey thread ... @shiney posted another cracking hilariously funny link.

Back on subject quickly before I get told off...Hampshire hit the highest temperature today...so the national news stated earlier 25C!!

This morning at 5.30 when I went out to put the sprinkler on it was 40F (4.4C) but yesterday was a record high in Shineyland this year. 81.7F (27.6C) at 6.35 p.m. in our main garden.

                                P1410942.JPG

This may not be accurate for the area as a whole as our main garden (I have names for all the different parts of the garden) is very sheltered although 90' x 70'. So it tends to retain the heat once it has built up.

The purists may say we have sited that temperature sensor in not the best place but it's in permanent shade in the porch of the summerhouse. It's the small white one beneath the old fashioned mechanical thermometer. The wall with the lamp is due north facing and the walls do not conduct the heat that may build up inside the building. The walls are timber clad on top of Essex boarding. Behind that is 6" of insulation with a foil coating on the inside, then plasterboard and then plaster - almost certainly better insulated than our house :heehee:
