    it must be warming up.

    These were my koi, a month ago, huddled together for warmth, in a corner of the bottom of the pool under the filter return five feet down, "trying to keep out of the rain."

    Today, some of them were having a mooch around closer to the surface, though it's still too cold for them to start feeding yet.

      It's one of those jokes that only works properly verbally and not written.

      Prince Charles was about to leave the palace when the Queen saw him going out wearing a Davey Crockett hat. She asked him why he was wearing it and he reminded her of their conversation earlier that day.

      He had told her he was going to Cleethorpes and she said "Where the fox hat?".

      You'll have to keep repeating it to yourself out loud. :noidea: :heehee:

            Sorry @Doghouse Riley your correction sounds wrong to me. This is how I interpreted it:

            She replied about the fox being "where" meaning "at that place", but he mistook her to be commanding him to wear....

                  As I remember it and it's quite some time ago. Charles said to his mother that he was going to Liverpool (or wherever). The Queen was suggesting a suitable choice of headgear, hence, "Wear the fox hat." (She not being the sort of person to swear). He misinterpreted what she meant and replied, "It's in Lancashire."
