A robust northerly blowing here now,
temperature has dropped significantly and I need a cardi on now,

Low clouds rushing from the east, the usual stuff we get with an easterly wind.
Bits of blue showing through so should clear once the sun gets up.

Dry, sunny intervals, stiff breeze up to 21°C later.

 

We had 10 minutes of light rain at 8-ish, the first drop since a showery night on 4 June and that was after weeks and weeks of dry. We are still forecast thunderstorms and rain through tomorrow night. Don't know how we got this as the map shows a massive band of rain off the West Coast and we are halfway along eastwards towards Spain.

 

Much needed coolness this morning, its been like living in a tropical country here for weeks, the Sun burns all day long and the humidity is very high, very little wind if any.

 

Just had another brief shower ... a shower to us is Mother Nature taking pity on us. Temp is about 24c with a breeze so very pleasant.

 

This is exciting ... we had a good half hour of rain, almost heavy but not torrential like we get in rain season. I know the shrubs and earth are loving it. Keep it coming.
