WHATS YOUR WEATHER LIKE 2020

I went for a drive up to the moors today, the scenery is just breathtaking but so was the wind, it was blowing a gale and only a 20 minute drive from my home where there was no wind at all when I returned as it was when I left.

 

A lovely sunny, warm and windless day....where was I? Shopping! 22C/72F

 

It was a pleasant afternoon a lot warmer than the morning.

Had a windy night and now a breeze strengthening over the next hour or so. Max 20°C with sunny intervals.

It has been like waking up in Tenerife or the South of France here, the weather has been glorious for weeks with fresh gentle cool breezes if any and delightful sunrises to behold. 21* forecast and clear skies throughout the day, so another beautiful day just like yesterday.

 

We had several more thirty minute bursts of some heavy rain yesterday plus at 4am and at 8am this morning with sunshine in between (except at 4am) but no thunderstorms. Currently 16c, sunny and breezy going to 24c. Under warnings to be like this today and tomorrow. This will help our desperately low dams until rain season arrives. Lovely.

 

Thank you Logan. Going five months with only one shower in June and hotter temps than normal and draining. Van (the boy cat) jumps and runs every time the wind catapults the rain off the awning outside the window we keep open.

Sunny and windy at the moment following thunder and a couple of bursts of rain this morning. Wind at 30k/ph from the SE gusting to 48 k/ph. Put the awning back. Waiting for next round.

Our friends who live at the coast have lost their Century Plant (Agave americana) bloom ...

 

Just have to wait another 100 years.
Now that would annoy me, but I would expect it here.

 

False I was told years ago 25 years, but this is interesting ...
