WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER LIKE - 2021

Dry, cloudy and calm today, 4C/39F.

It must be that we acclimatize to the area we live in. I've also had a similar temperature here today, but I wouldn't have said it was freezing cold having spent ten minutes or so in the garden sleeveless.

But really it comes down to taking into account the wind chill factor too.

I have all our brood's plus other family members locations logged into my weather app. and the variations between temps and wind chill ( feels like ) temp can throw a different light on things.

For example today one of our sons had a temp of 7C while we were at our high of 8C, but our son's wind chill temp kept his real air feel at 7C whilst ours was only at 6C, so being out in his 7C felt warmer than being out in our 8C!!

 

I was born in south east England @Upsydaisy, moved to the Isle of Man later for 24 years and then here to Scotland. But having returned to the south east on a number of occasions I find it quite uncomfortable. The summers there now I find unbearable heat-wise.

That said I'm booked to visit relatives in Gloucester in early August.

Quite breezy with the sun breaking up cloud at 16c only going to 18c with possible thunderstorms over the next few days.
