Depressing

 

Dismal.

Is this one of those word games?

 

A good deal of fog (NOT freezing - this time!) at 6-8am today with next to no wind (I don't think the two go together somehow!) & with about 8C. When the fog lifted into low cloud it made for a dark, dank day, rather dismal & slightly depressing! Puts me in mind of mid-November day rather than a end of December day! We have had some light rain but the damp has remained very damp & dull with not the slightest glimmer of sunshine. The temps reached about 9-10C at best. Though we were forecast rain for 3 or 4 hours of rain what we got was more like drizzle - if that even!

 

It has been sunny all afternoon, now clouding over but 20c.

 

A miserable, sunless day but 18°C / 12°C and sunny for the next five days Looks as though the festive chapon will be turning gently on a rotisserie while the guests clink glasses in the sunshine on the terrasse

 

Early sunshine which soon disappeared. In between fog coming and going the sky has been grey. 4C/39F
