Still cool here for the end of March, mostly because of a strong N/NE wind. Max 14C. Min 0C on Sunday It 's pleasant in the sun, though, and forecast to warm up considerably next week.

A bright and breezy 9 degrees, I might go fishing later if the wind drops a bit.

It is 34f 1c and cloudy as the guessers said it would be. I had to put off "opening" the greenhouse until next week because they also are saying that Monday and Tuesday night will dip well below freezing. I see no point in heating the place up from that base temp. It would be a bit costly to do so. Oh well, only a few more days to wait..

It is 22c now with a light breeze.I spent an hour pulling leaves off my Hibiscus as they had tiny holes in them ... and I discover teeny, tiny empty snail shells on a couple of them, so I guess that was as a result of the wet, cold weather.

A little bit of rain overnight, but then clear skies and sunshine all day. Very windy though, and not pleasant to stay outside for too long. Looking at the site National Grid: Live, I don't think I've ever seen solar power contributing so much.

Slightly damp this morning and gloomy, brightened up PM with warm sunny periods.

Possible frost tonight, I hope not.

Not a hint of rain so now have the sprinkler started on one of the large beds. The forecast for the next two weeks is sun so shall end up moving the hose and sprinkler around the garden.

I don't suppose that because we shall be put the clocks forward on Saturday night it might kick the weather into changing. :noidea: Maybe I shall have to arrange a party in the garden and that may bring the rain.

It appears altering the clocks is kicking the weather into summer mode according to the forecast I've seen.

The very serious earthquake in Asia has claimed many lives and I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches into the thousands. It is in an area that very rarely has earthquakes and this was a force 7.7 . It spread across a number of countries but was centred on Mandalay in Myanmar.

It was a lovely country with lovely people and we were in Mandalay a couple of weeks before covid hit. Then they had the stupid army revolution and we lost touch with friends there. So don't really know what is happening.

Had a bit of rain overnight and an unexpected shower early this morning. Although the sun came out there was a brisk and chilly wind. Only 11c.

But look at next week - it will be 20c and full sun. The ground is still quite dry so I expect watering will start soon.

The bit of rain we had overnight had covered my car in a dusty film. I had spent ages the day before cleaning the windows too!

I daren’t look at next week’s forecast in case it’s not as good as I have heard it will be…
