I've just looked at the clock on my mobile and realised it's gone 10. Completely forgot!

Windy, sunny intervals and max 13c. Maybe full sun later.

Very dry in the garden and that's before next week's "heatwave".

Overnight strong winds now dropped, most of the cloud has gone and the sun is shining 12 degrees, looks promising.

Bright and breezy today, should get the washing dried in no time. Unfortunately it also makes plants use up more moisture and dries the soil quickly, and there's no rain in the forecast for at least a week (not even in the BBC forecast which I find is often over-optimistic when it comes to rain).

Electricity price now quoted as MINUS £14.50. They can't give the stuff away.

It’s a sunny day here. Bit of a breeze but ok. It’s setting-off all the Spring growth off beautifully.

It is 32f 0c and everything is shiney. No, not a nice one like our @shiney , but because of a thick layer of ice. The guessers say it will go up to 38f 3c or so and that will help melt things even though there is no sunshine to help it along :fingers crossed:

Quite the opposite here ... clear blue sky and 25c ... drying things out nicely for the rain coming later this week.

The wind was very chilly this morning but it has dropped and it feels hotter than the 16C the thermometer is showing. We may be heading for a record sunshine day for the year. :)

That cold wind is still blowing here but the unbroken sunshine is winning at the moment.
                        Just about 18c.

Got to 25c today and the orange blossom scent is permeating the house ... one reason we moved here. It is 20c now and sunny.

After a bitter cold winter, we have gone into a miserable spring, if you can call it that. Day after day of cold, damp, rainy, just plain miserable weather. That said, yesterday, I was in the yard and noticed a crocus poking up on the side of the hill. I have no idea of how the bulb got there, I don't remember ever having planted them, however I was certainly glad to see it! Right now, it is 7C, damp and gloomy and tomorrow they forecast thunderstorms. In other words, it is a typical upstate New York spring.
