We’ve had steady, gentle rain most the night. It won’t have filled the pond and butts much, but it’s something. Supposed to brighten-up later this afternoon and be dry until Saturday again.

It looks damp in places, but that's all. 25% chance of a decent shower today, but probably nothing.

Max 19c and feels pleasant. Sunny intervals.

I think we have to wait until Saturday for proper rain.

It is 47f 7c and not predicted to get much warmer. The bonus free water has not started but the skies are full of clouds so I hope they will bring rain. It is guessed to be wet until Saturday. Things aren't dry here but if the water starts again, the plants will be good and strong for any upcoming dry spells. Now we just need someone to turn on the heat. :)

Here in Gloucestershire the promised/threatened rain has once again failed to materialise. The gutters are bone dry so apparently not even any overnight last night. Nothing forecast before Saturday. Currently bright sunshine and around 20c.

A bright and breezy 12 degrees, it feels hotter strangely, no sign of any wet stuff.

I posted less than 3 hours ago that the forecast rain didn't arrive and that it was sunny and warm. Because of that, and it being quite still, I decided to get out and weedkill the bottom part of the garden. Needless to say, literally within 15 minutes we had thick cloud and rain.
Please no lectures about using weedkiller. I've explained before why it's my only option.

Glad to hear that many of you have had rain. Where's mine? :th scifD36: :)

No change here with the exception of a light breeze. 18C/64F

Well its looked like rain all day but just a few spots, my weather app said rain due to stop at 4.45pm.
At 4.45pm we have just had a short sharp shower and lightning and a loud crack of thunder, I suppose they cant always be right.:roflol:
                      It reached 19c. earlier.

                      It hail now.:yikes:

We had about 1 hour of rain at lunchtime. It sounded like hail at times too. Not sure how deep down it got. Even the blackbird came out to sing after. It's very humid now, but pleasant.

Tomorrow will be chilly at 15c and cloudy too.

Started raining in the small hours, as promised, and a decent amount had fallen by the time I got up. It's carried on more or less all day, and there was a real downpour as I walked home from work. The grass here is very brown, especially the bits of verge that have been cut short, so it will be interesting to see how long it takes to green up again.
