It is beautifully bright today and 60f 14c. There is a lovely breeze drying the laundry and I am looking forward to puttering outside. And figuring out where I want to place the 4 hardy hibiscus I am picking up this week

 

We just had a short sharp shower. Enough to wet me but not enough to register anything in the gauge.

 

Its up to 23c now but a lot of clouds around and earlier the wind felt cold after yesterday, next week looks like typical British summer weather after tomorrow which might be OK.

I've got 18.5mm for May.

 

Well, the string of miserable weekends is unbroken as we are experiencing another miserable weekend.
From the local paper:
"According to a story from New York Upstate, the last time Albany had a full weekend free of any precipitation was November 16 & 17, 2024. That is over 6 MONTHS ago!"

Yesterday, Saturday, it was a steady downpour all day and all night. To the point, the national weather service issued flood watch warnings, again, this weekend. This morning it rained, now it is in the 50s f, overcast and more rain predicted.

Even if we do catch some sun, it does not last long. Our spring has been absolutely miserable; I am afraid this is not going to be a good gardening season.

 

My nearly dry washing was caught in a rain shower so I’m leaving it out as sunny tomorrow.

Rain on and off for the rest of the week then warm and dry the week after (?).

 

Beautiful here after our horrid high temps. High of 29c, now 25c so we sat out for 90 minutes this evening. Think/hope we will have this for a few days but still with the Saharan dust.

 

Apart from cloud cover for an hour or so around midday it's been sunny and breezy. 20C/68F

Not one cloud here a beautiful blue sky says 10C so day to get our hands dirty today up the garden and have a few ‘T’ breaks sat in the garden and enjoy the day !

 

A sunny spells sort of morning then sunny all afternoon. Should stay dry and reach about 17c.
