Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Will wonders ever cease, today we finally got a decent day. They had to go back to 1812 to find a month of May with a like amount of rain. This area received in excess of 7 inches of rain just in May. Today, we had broken clouds, light winds, with a high temperature of 71 F.
That said, the vegetation is lush and green here. People tend to think of New York as highly populated, but here in upstate New York it is less so, with LOTS OF TREES. The further north you go from here, the less populated it is. I took advantage of the nice weather to test fly my drone. This is NY route 2 over the little village of Cropseyville, heading east toward Massachusetts.

Lovely area. A lot of people don't know, if you hover your mouse over the Member's location, it brings up Google maps on a computer ... I don't know about mobiles however.

Here in the orange orchards (I am 6 kms from Messines) it is sunny, breezy and 17c. A fine day is forecast with temps in the low 20s.

 

Gusty winds and raining. I think it has been like this all night. Everything is swaying around. 13c now and going up to 18c. Sunny intervals later, but the wind will stay.

 

2mm rain this morning so far. Forecast dry for the rest of the day and tomorrow, chance of some showers later in the week

A very wet and windy night and, as it's bin day, the bins had to be rescued from the road. Good job we live on a cul de sac. Pots blown over, general mess and debris around. Still a bit breezy but dry although light rain is on the cards. Max 16c.

More potting-on to do today.
