Back from London where it was uncomfortably hot.
It was pleasant when I got back here at half past nine last night. I went round the garden checking the containers and newly planted stuff and giving them a drink. Things weren't too bad considering three hot days with no attention.
Today and tomorrow are forecast to get to 30C, but with a bit of cloud which might help it to feel less uncomfortable, then cooler thank goodness. Small possibility of some rain but as usual for this time of the year I'll believe it when I see it.

It's been a nice summer temperature here in norfolk for the last few days, staying around 25c. It's forecast to be nearer 30 over the weekend but no rain.
The apricots are ripening well and the mulberries are cropping.

It's nicer today, cooler but yet warm enough to be in shorts and small shirt. There's a refreshing breeze, very nice and much more pleasant than intense hot sunshine .

Not sure if we are still dragging in smoke from the Canadian fires or what, but the sky is just white with the sun coming through.
I've known hazy skies before but this looks a bit weird.
            28c already.

A milky sky and a gentle southerly breeze.

It is lovely 15c 62f and the guessers say it will only go up to the mid 70'sF 20'sC. I've got some steamy work to do so I'll try to get it all done before the hotter days arrive.
