Whats Your Weather Like 2025

It was lovely outside yesterday evening, and there was a cool breeze when I woke about 5am, but the bedroom temp is still 25. It’s cloudy this morning but will be warm and sunny again today. One forecast says 24% chance of rain later this morning but even if it does, the temp will be 29 later. Happy Summer Solstice.

 

25c already and going up to 30c again.

Temp in bedroom last night was 28c and it only dropped to 26c.

Forecast says full sun amd chance of a shower.

This is the last of the super hot days and the longest too. Happy Summer Solstice.

 

The sun shone for a while but it was very hot. Then it became muggy and we had a few thundery drops, they evaporated as they touched the floor.
It's still muggy and humid, I think there are some more thundery drops on the way.

 

Hot again. It was pleasant when I woke up at 4:30 am but it didn't last. The forecasts have a possibility of rain this afternoon, varying from 30% to 90% depending which forecast I look at. That generally means it's showers and will likely miss us altogether. Fingers crossed it doesn't!

I have some washing on the go. Hmm, now should I use the tumble dryer or hang on the line??

Good morning all, sun and cloud high of 28c ,could be a thunderstorm this evening.

 

It is lovely and cool this morning. 64f 16c I've got the windows wide open to let the cool flow through then about 10ish when it starts heating up I'll shut things up. I just want to make sure the second floor isn't too hot before I close up and turn on the central air in preparation for the coming heat wave.

No sense in letting a house heat up before trying to cool it! I'll still go out and putter around and of course, make sure nothing is thirsty. These are the times I am glad I have my watering system for everything including the pots and greenhouses!

Just had a rain shower (washing on line obviously). It hasn’t cooled it down much, nor watered much though.

 

Take screenshot every 12 hours and you’ll be surprised. I wish I had done this yesterday morning. Such a lovely heavy rain shown for hours tomorrow, but this morning all changed.
It’s probably AI and the weather teams gave up working. It really changed since February. I noticed most of the time that the forecast given 4 days before turned out to be almost correct but in the 3 days in between they changed the forecast in the most strange outcome.

 

The Harr is rolling in off the sea cooling down the area nicely, 16 degrees is very comfortable and much dead heading of Roses has taken place, I'm sure bleeding will stop soon, they are only scratches lol.

 

Yes I don't take any forecast literally, it is annoying when they get it wrong in a 24hr forecast, anything longer is always open to questions,they often say that if you watch a 10day one.
It's just the expected general trend really rather than cast in stone.

 

48 hours ago the forecast was for 30+ and wall to wall sunshine over the weekend. Possibility of rain Monday then cooling to mid 20s but sunshine. By today the forecast was around 50% chance of rain and thunder until about 2pm. We had about 15 minutes of light rain. Currently overcast and very humid. Forecast is for the sun to break back through later this afternoon. Forecast temperature from tomorrow onward are mid to low 20s. I'll go for that, come rain or shine.
