Whats Your Weather Like 2025

Looking on the radar there appears to be a narrow band of rain heading this way from the west, its 32c and the sun has just gone in.
I'm looking at the radar observation rather than the forecasted radar which is as much use as a chocolate tea pot.

 

It has been an overcast hazy day and the temp crept up slowly unlike previous days when it shoots up quickly. Still overcast, breezy and 32.7c, the sun popped out briefly, but don;t think it will go much higher..

 

It became very muggy after a couple of showers this morning but it’s mostly sunny and about 28 now.

 

@pete thanks for the reminder about the radar. I forgot that I have a weather app which includes that.

 

We did have a shower at lunchtime, which dampened down the dust and the garden smelt lovely.

Now it's 29°c and full sun for the rest of the evening so we're off to the pub early for an pint of cold lager.

 

Its gone through and there was no rain, brightening up now, I think if there was any rain on it it would have evaporated before reaching the ground anyway.

 

So frustrating watching those thundery-looking clouds just float by leaving us sweltering in the sun.

The heat has just blown away this evening - a really fresh breeze now.

 

That’ll be the fresh breeze bringing in winter then. Longest day almost over, back we go!
