Whats Your Weather Like 2025

It’s hotter today than yesterday. It must be above 30c and no cloud that stops the sun burning down, which we had yesterday afternoon.
The garden looks awful. This is the worst year for us. It’s not so much the heat, but the lack of rain is devastating.

 

I've had days where I've looked at the forecast and just burst into tears. However I remember a few months back posting on this thread "will it ever stop raining?". I poured lots of lovely rainwater down the drain because I had no storage for it.

 

It’s the same with the temperature. If we could store the heat, we could live without heating over winter.

i’m not sure what will survive. I’m currently not very optimistic.

 

El-Scorcio today had an outing with grand-children couldn't miss playing flag-football , all day sat under a tent it went up to 31C it was fun though !!

 

I’ve reported the temperature in the shade at 6:30pm by my back door seat for the last few days…
It is 30.5 (same as yesterday), but I was fully expecting it to be much higher. The house is warmer than yesterday though.

 

It's cooler in my bedroom, down to 25c, I must find an extra blanket

 

Currently 19c at midnight. It will be full sun in 5 hours time and another scorcher starts tomorrow at 28c.

The garden is not designed for this weather and it is sad to see plants going over so quickly. I'm not sure the front lawn will survive. Burnt to a crisp. One photinia has dead branches.

There maybe some rain on Tuesday. Fingers crossed.
