Some hazy sun with the wind gusting up to 50mph, 20c

 

Yes very gusty here, no more rain since my soaking this morning and sunny periods.
22c, just about, but feels a lot cooler.

 

It's pouring down ! and the winds are gusty . Just put some buckets under the drippers from the trowing on our shed to save for later . It's forecast all day don't mind off volunteering down The Grange garden soon oh it's someone's birthday and she's bringing in 'Homemade Lemon cheesecake for 'T' break better get our Waterproofs out ! .

 

High today was 36,3 for an hour, now 35.1 and no breeze so . Don't think Van went up in hos tree today, too hot but sat on my lap for a cuddle around 10am.

 

Splishy splashy rain, a fair amount. A moderate breeze, good sleeping conditions.
Drying to a partly sunny day tomorrow, with an expected high of 20.

 

The forecast 3-5 hours of moderate to heavy rain promised last evening turned out to be 2 hours of gentle rain. The ground was dry again by 11 pm.

Calm and sunny today until mid afternoon with cloud cover since. 22C/72F

 

In hospital as an out patient for a fair part of the day, so missed the weather, it feels rather muggy, but the tomatoes are ripening which is good.

 

I measured the amount of rain we had today and it was just a couple of mm. We were expecting loads.

The West Midlands now has drought status, although we don't have a hose pipe ban.

Hotting up again tomorrow. The garden is suffering. Back to watering again.

Tomorrow is supposed to be hotter.

 

We had a bit of rain yesterday but not enough. A few warm and dry days now before possible rain on the weekend.
