      We reached 31C but now have torrential rain that started just after 2 a.m. and still the same two hours later. It's very humid.

            It stopped raining just after 5 a.m. so I drove into town at 5.30 to get shopping before the crowds. A lot of the country roads were flooded but those in town weren't. :blue thumb:

                              The rain has just started. Steady and vertical. No wind. This is how I remember rain. Lovely.

                              Thunder and lightning promised for later, but for now all is quiet.

                                We had some thunder last night and over night and lots of lovely rain. It was so muggy yesterday we couldn’t move. Today the air is much fresher and temperatures a wonderful 18 degrees. I might get to move the old body today with a bit of luck.:biggrin:
