We're expecting heavy rain in the early hours and lightning for most of the day tomorrow. I'm starting to miss the warmer and sunnier weather that we had. And our lawns still look pretty bad despite the recent rain.

I planted the Foxgloves yesterday afternoon and noticed that only the first 3 cm of soil are wet, everything else is still bone dry. More rain needed to overcome the drought.
It started raining here at 1am so the maps. Nice gentle rain which has currently stopped. More rain from 6 on for two hours.
Currently 15c, and up to 18c over the day.

The wind is pretty rough, rain has stopped but more waiting in the wings.

All the grass looks green from a distance now - not so good close up. My back lawn is recovering well though. I didn't cut it all summer and the grass went to seed, and now I've got lots of new grass coming up. Downside is that the foxes are now able to dig again and they're taking full advantage.
